We raced max with my son for 4 years. I repaced most parts due to the poor quality after a few meeting. We bought a 125 Open second hand for 1500 pound. We had the engince checked over and then raced it for the year. Only costs were entry, fuel and 3 sets of slicks. No damaged bodywork, no being rammed of the circuit and we all have great fun. We are now racing it for a 4th season. We have spent 8000 pounds in 4 years including buying it / rebuilds and a new frame last year. Value for money YES, Fun for all, YES.
