Hi, I shipped a Cadet rolling chassis, cost about £75 - unbolted stubs and swung them in, removed rear axle and tye wrapped it to chassis, removed steering wheel and dropped column down to get the whole thing as low as possibe. Went to Halfords and got 2 cycle boxes and wrapped them round it!! It got there with no damage, but was a major pain and I wouldn't do it again!!
you can get an online quote from most couriers. I used parcelmachine.co.uk they placed it with TNT or DHL can't remember which. hope this helps. - if your sending the engine - do it seperatly
