I agree David that method is basically how to do single seater cars when corners have bee removed but using known pre set stinging bars bolted to a known chassis point however it is still possible to have all 4 wheels footprints perfect inrelation to one another with a bent or non central chassis so the starting point has to be to exacly center the rear axle within the chasis and referance all other measurements to this. if a perfect footprint and alignment can be achieved after this all is well if however you find any error at the front in terms of width spacers to get the footprint then somthing is bent!
