The axle clutch was designed by a member of the British Historic Kart Club. His aim was to provide a clutch system for old rotary valve engines. The axle clutch allows you to have a number of engines, but only require one clutch and you can use a standard external starter.

I don't see a fit for this in MSA racing as the only DD karts are TKM and Tal-Ko seem to have the clutch side of things covered with existing products.
