Rushy - the CIK have made the CMR helmets compulsory for all under 15s from 01.01.10 but there was uproar on this forum when the MSA came in with a more lenient position making them compulsry for cadets from 01.01.11 and for underr 15s from 01.01.13.
Look at the thread about chassis protectors - CIK ban them but MSA take a slightly more flexible attitude. Also the thread about the new intermediate class.
This difference in views over MSA changes is perhaps why it would be so difficult to get an effective driver association started.
