Does this class still exist? If not I imagine the kit can be picked up quite cheaply.

The level of kart competition here in France for kids is so bad, I'm looking for ways of at least making the training as challenging as possible. He can go round and round for ever on the same tenth of a second, at some of the best tracks in Europe, but there is nobody to race.

Moving back to the UK is not an option and I can't afford to travel back for more than a couple of meetings a year.

Any thoughts on putting an experienced 11/12 year old in a gearbox kart?
