The Duchini CMR Helmets are not far away now. I have the pre production prototype and it looks good too.
A point that has been missed in this thread is that the CMR standard has been introduced that limits the weight of the helmet so that 'little Johnny's' neck is under less load during any impact or high G loading. Remember a standard 1.5 kg helmet weighs around 3 kg when cornering and upwards of 10kg in a typical karting shunt.
