The high capacity batteries that are used in good quality impact guns ARE expensive. That is why they deliver high current right up to the time the pack discharges. Some manufacturers even test each battery for charge and delivery of current time so that your batteries will all discharge at the same time. If you go for a cheap gun then you can expect the battery pack to gradually discharge and not give full power all the way through the discharge cycle. I am afraid it is a fact of life that sometimes you need to pay for quality. You may be able to get a company to re-pack the unit but I doubt you would save much as it is the initial cost of the batteries that controls the final price.
