You should set the base set up for the dry and then make progressive changes, depending on time constraints and grip levels for the conditions. What set up changes do you make for the wet?

You should have a mental list of what you can do in the time you have. This list would ideally start with wet tyres, but might just be tyre pressures right up and a seat booster if you only have seconds to go. Followed by a couple of turns of tow out, moving lead, tightening or loosening and gearing. If you have more time or the rain is 'in' for the day, then Castor/camber, ride heights, hubs, brake protection and even axle hardness can be looked at.

Although in principle you might change the seat position for the wet, in practice most wet days are changable and so the seat position is often set and left on a dry setting. If you have lead on the kart, it is better to move this, a 4kg lump with 3 options for position, high on seat back, under seat and between pedals gives you good options for most conditions.
