Having painted a couple myself, you see why they cost so much to do - the work that goes in is enormous, even for a 'simple' job!
and some of the paint is damn expensive too - I would think you will pay Ł300 up for a 'good' job but, if you are handy, why not try it yourself?
It's a lot of work but there is an immense amount of satisfaction at the end result.
