I have often thought that myself

I race the class and think it is the BEST class (125GB also) to get you ready for cars if you are thinking of cars.

Real quick, you have to balance power, mega brakes and gear changing just like a car, why it is not pushed more I can not understand.

I did a full season on a very low budjet and was very very sucessful, my son is doing cadets now and I would think I will spend 3 or 4 times more on that, so it can also be very cost effective, much more so than rotax etc

Maybe because people are scared of them, my friend who raced rotax would not go near it, Rotax yes pretty fast, but get into a 250 nat and a rotax feels like a pro kart.

I have raced karts and cars, FF1600, Formula 2000 etc and a 250 is BY FAR imo much faster and better fun, MUCH more value for money than FF etc, not sure what it is now but I think a FF1600 race is some thing around 200 quid for a 10 lap race, were as karting is what 40 or 50 for 4 races

IMO its a shame you dont see better grids.

Maybe one day?
