Have a look at the Cheetah kart,the water pump is mounted on l/hand axle carrier and the pulley belt drive is between the l/h hub and the bearing carrier,just change the hoses.

Or bolt a piece of thick flat bar to the mushroom clamp facing the back of the kart, drill it and fit pump U shaped mounting bracket to it,re-fit pump to U bracket so moving the pump rearward,fit shorter belts available as O rings from any hydraulic co. then you are away again. If Formula Blue make sure you use the hoses "as supplied by manufacturer" if running MSA.
