john i think you'll find that the medical that the licence requires is due to the restrictions placed upon the MSA by their insurers to minimise risk ( like insurance companies do) and the msa will not be able to change that without a large increase in premiums to the MSA and therefore all associated clubs.

medicals shouldnt be a problem as its just a simple checkup from GP who should do this for free or very reasonable cost as they have a target set by HMG to provide health checkups for patients and this could be incorporated in this like my own GP does ---- charge Ł0.00 per year
