If the engine stop is done upto the engine mount .
When the chassis flex's (and tonykarts do flex alot) it puts all the pressure through that carrier as there is no space for the movement.

So make sure the engine stop is backed right off.
this advice Goes for any chassis, but especially a tonykart with 15stones in the seat :-)
