Just invest in some good quality tyre bags and store them in there. Don't listen to the nonsense about letting air out or wrapping them with cling film. We've all got better things to do and cling film is so uncool!

Speaking from experience we didn't run our slicks between November and Jan. Stored in bags in the garage through the really cold period but off the floor. First time out tyres worked fine.
