Caster angle is the most important available adjustment on most karts. It has a profound effect on handling. Although in general, it should be the same both sides, on a track with mostly low speed corners in one direction, and one high speed corner in the other, it might be advantageous to have each side set differently. In your situation, I would take the pils out and make centre punch marks at the high/low/mid-point settings to aid setting.
