I think that Steve A W is probably close. I think you ought to be asking yourself why you're in MSA karting.....is it for you or your son? Parents that take it too seriously are the cause of a lot of problems in the sport. Surely his enjoyment is paramount over you getting results value for money?
Kids listen to people that know what they're talking about....if you've never raced successfully, don't expect your kid to pay as much heed to you as they will to an experienced racer.
