I recently moved from rotax snr max to 177's as i was a bit fat and to skint to keep repairing my kart after each heat! Since the move i have had to put an extra 5kg of lead on the kart but i found i am now doing quicker laptimes than when i was running with the lighter lads. Strange. could be a confidence thing, could be the weight just making the kart feel better?
