The S/H Mychron 3 will give you what you need and it does have some capacity for expansion of functions by the addition of other data modules such as ebox. However the Mychron 4 is by far the best investment from the 3 products you mention. Personally I would choose the Mychron 4 over the Alfarno any day. But having said that many people still do like the Alfarno and continue to buy them even though they are price comparable with the Mychron 4.
I stock both in my shop and both sell so as the saying goes 'you pay your money and take your choice'.
