The sad thing is is that it's probably been nicked by some local kids/lads who have seen you load/unload it or some kids older brothers who son goes to school with and they will use it until it goes bang then they will bugger around with it for a few days then lose interest.
I'd be looking around industrial estates or anywhere with a large tarmac area for any signs.
The kart it self is pretty much un-usable at any track in the north as arrows are pretty much thin on the ground.
I keep meaning to chain my lads cart to the van vault that's bolted to the floor in my garage but I never do.
I hope you find it Dave and I'll keep my eye's peeled What's the chassis number? And make sure you get all relevent numbers sent off to club's and engine builders.
