After reading the recent tales of woe regards thefts of karting equipment, I made some enquiries to see what I could do to cover my sons kit. I found Insurance for my sons kart with Accidental damage, fire and most importantly THEFT up to the value of Ł2500. This covers storage at home and whilst in transit. The only time the kart is not covered is when its moving under its own power. Excess is Ł250 but far outweighs to cost of replacing your kart.
