"only thing that i dont like is mixed grids, i am talking about the senior blue and tkm extreme it shouldnt happen."

Clubs have a problem when grids are not full enough to warrant a grid. If for example the club rules say 'Minimum 8 drivers' as some clubs do, what do you expect to happen if only 4 Blues and 4 TKM's show up?

The easy answer is 'Cancel both grids' but that quickly leads to clubs with only one senior grid, and thus only one junior grid. Drivers faced with the substantial cost of changing class either go non-MSA or often give up.

The real problem with mixed grids is that there are drivers who become very focused with 'the championship' and get very irate if they see their position in the championship threatened by the intervention of a kart not in 'their' race. I've even seen rude words exchanged when it's a visiting kart of the same class that intervened, with the driver being told that he should have given way because he 'spoiled' the 'home' driver's year.

Mind you, I have become very much more relaxed about the issue since circumstances put me out of the running for championships these last couple of years.

However, since there is no real difference in the performance of TKM against Blue, it being proven to be all a matter of tyres, there's no real reason why a club with regular mixed grids should not use a 'club' formula, say, restrictors to give a competitive parity to both, no?
