I have ordered and paid online or by phone but collected at the track with no problems but then the traders I have dealt with have not charged extra at the track anyway.
If you use the internet to order whilst at the track and then walked round to try and collect the items you could have a problem - they may not have thoses items with them or may not be able to access their system to confirm you had ordered/paid for the items.
It is also possible that the items they had at the track were not exactly the same as the ones shown on their website - may have been original equipment whereas you saw a copy item on the website. Also - track price would have been inclusive of VAT whereas most web sites quote net of VAT.
Have you bothered asking the supplier why their track prices are higher than online?
