While you have pods and bumpers you will commit to moves you wouldn't dream off in an open wheel senario.

I came off twice at the bus stop at the weekend. once because 5 karts all bundled into the same corner on the last lap. No one wanted to back out and it was always going to end up with only 1 person gaining and the rest losing.

If we had no pods we wouldn't have all been so 'confident' going into the corner. Karting is now more touring cars than Formula cars. Its no longer open wheels. so u will have a drop in clean driving standards.

People were called in front of the CoC so the observers etc were doing their best. .
