Warning to zip lightining users

There was something bugging me about the below thread regarding Dean Macdonald's DSQ from this weekends S1.
The last time I saw him race I'm sure he was in a lightining with a hydrulic brake?
Just thought I'd do a few checks myself with my lads kart.
Chassis low the brake disk finished 23/25mm above the bottom of the chassis.

Chassis high..... the brake disk finished 2/3mm BELOW the chasiss rail!!

So the chassis was set for maximum grip in changing conditons as someone stated in the other thread.

No performace gain but this is a national level competition, so rules are bl@@dy rules I'm afraide.
Poor lad, chassis protectors all round then?
