I stand corrected, when I went and read a book the Otto Cycle fits better with a 2 stroke then a 4 stroke. Otto should be 4 processes, two adiabatic and two isochoric processes. A 2 stroke relates this better, a 4 stroke has an extra 2 processes.

I starting to think a Wankel engine has a Wankel cycle instead. However its a pointless topic because mazda can't even make them emission compliant, at least some progress is being made in this regard to 2 strokes.
