Don't think poor driving standards are just due to lack of race craft - just look at some of the very experienced drivers in junior classes!
A lot of parents expect their little ones to bin other drivers and praise them rather than admonish them when they do.
At our first ever race in S1 cadets An experienced racer i was talking to said not to expect to see my lad fininsh the practice session - his crime was to pass (fairly)a `numbered driver down the straight. I was told that if this driver caught my lad he would bin him just because he was not `known'.
Another time we were doing a track walk and a driver with one of the big teams said `our driver coach says you can get away with binning people here because it is a blind spot for the marshalls'.
