I run them dry. Metal to metal that only moves occasionally like that shouldn't really bind up too much. The problem with lubricants in a dusty environment is that the dust turns the lubricant into grinding paste, so you get faster wear. But if I were to grease them, it would be with copper-slip.

Mine's a Tal-Ko V-Clutch, works like the Rotax clutches, and I've had no problems running the pivots dry. I use a small amount of red-line high speed grease on the needle roller bearing.
