Hi Chris,
interesting question, especially from you....In my view any kart which has a high K.P.I/ caster angle and or a 'stiff' balance front to rear (tube thickness, shape) should have a lot of front end grip. My son has recently returned to karting and we have tested several karts. Without doubt the Maranello RS12 has a massive level of front grip, possibly too much, hard to balance I suspect, well my son thought so(RS7 much better, for us anyway). Also the latest Gillard TG14 has a lot of front grip, a much underated kart I suspect. But!! if you really want a pointy chassis try a BRM GP66, you only have to think about turning, and you have, needs a real good pilot though......lol.Hope this helps.
