We start racing in cadets 2013 and have plumped for the Comer. Several reasons for this: - It's too early for me to tell what, if anything can be done by Engine tuners. I don't have the budget to fund the R&D costs, but the teams already competing at the top will have. - We got lucky with a 2nd hand package and have a strong club Comer. - We sourced a top Comer for reasonable money due to the fall in prices. - We haven't had any bad experiences with our first W60 engine.
Based on all this I didn't want to spend Ł1k on a new engine. My expectation is that we would be running IAME in 2014. However if the Comer is quickly dropped at our club meetings and the IAME is an off the shelf item, we will move to IAME sooner.
