Super 1 does not allow any heat gun use and they go pretty fast

With this in mind We tested with clean tyres and tyres with pick up, as long as the pick up was not huge we went a tad faster with "dirty" tyres, could of been a slight condition change but we found that there is no advantage in having heat gunned tyres

As Minisueg says once a driver has more experience and get better they won't pick up so much rubber off line etc

If you have one track says yes and one track saying no, and you don't agree with either one.

It's easy: Stay away from the track you don't agree with,

If your competitors are using heat guns, just a smile to yourself, you can be faster without cleaning them
