Re wet tyres do not try and save money here. If it is full on wet you must use good wets. Tyre pressure vary dependant on condition. Inters on a drying track could be down to 12 and full on wet could be upto 40psi.

With the pressure rise you are stating it would sound like you are spot on as you want them to go up 2psi ideally. Obviously as the temp drops you need more pressure and if its below 5c you can often be just as fast on inters as you are on slicks even though its dry.

Gearing is about right.
