Maybe I misread but I think he meant the plural you (as in Super 1 and the ABkC) rather then a personal attach.
I find the English language often causes these problems especially in the written word when one cannot convey tone.
Alan isn't Bernie yet so it is probably unfair to lump him in that decision making group if that was the intention. Compared to what was available 10 years ago, the improvement and availability of karting to watch freely is tremendous and in UK karting we mainly have Alan to thank for that. I recently found out that a driver from the original Motors TV series at MBKC was sponsored for a while by a very famous F1 driver purely based on that coverage.
