In some ways I'd agree. However we then enter the circular argument that the distortions 'on the track' mean that any kart set-up is a waste of time since it doesn't represent what is out there.

Yes, it would be nice, as an experiment, to support the axle at each end in bearings, load it up with 80kg of sand in the seat and see whether it makes a significant difference. Perhaps next week!
