Too much money - for most people that is true but others have spent over Ł30k on a couple of comer cadet engines and budgets of Ł250k+ are not unheard of especially when also racing in Europe.

Too much BS - also called Marketing. Some kart tracks market themselves as "the track where xxx was discovered" S1 often refers to F1 drivers who competed in S1

The road to F1? Most F1 drivers started in karting and this series has some serious backing. There is a chance that a driver could be `spotted' and gain some support but having a spare Ł10 million might also help.

Not a series for everyone but good luck to them for trying.
