All of which just goes to show what happens when you try to be nice to people.....you're right the clerks should just enforce the MSA rules and be done with it.

Except someone always comes on here and whinges about over-zealous enforcement of rules. "What harm would it have done to let us all change tyres, it became really dangerous forcing young kids to race on slicks instead of wets. If that's the MSA rule it should be changed."

Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
