Does it always need the MSA to take action?
Is there anything to stop a club from having a limit on the number of tyres used in their club championship SRs?
This might mean you would have to have different sets if you compete in more than one championship but would that put up costs?
Obviously you could not stop `guest' drivers from using a new set but the SRs could state that only club members would be awarded points. Could even have club championship trophies and guest driver trophies if sufficient guest drivers.
