If I've understood it correctly, the new bumper pushes in rather than dropping down as with the type that was initially tried in Europe this year.

From what I've heard it will not apply to cadets which seams daft as if you are likely to see any desperate lunges, deliberate loading/pushing it typically happens here first. Also if you stamp out poor driving at a young age then it should pay off when they go up through the junior and senior categories.
