I've used an Optimate 4 for Rotax and X30 batteries over the last few years. It does the job really well and keeps batteries conditioned by going through a variable amp and pulsed charging process appropriate for the battery, be it standard or lightweight. It also does a better job than some chargers when batteries run flat by conditioning them back up using a de-sulphating cycle. Also, indicates the percentage charge present in the battery when connected. I wouldn't use anything else.
