I am not talking about an open engine, just a choice of the engines homologated for the class by CIK, but this possibility has been 'scuppered' by the MSA introducing regulations which would appear to be out of line with the intentions of CIK. All the information I can find suggests that ok was intended as a multi make engine class introducing competition between manufacturers within closely controlled rules, not another one make commercial class controlled, in this case, by the organisation with most of the chassis market!
