Just finishing up the raw edit inc. the live championship points as the race unfolds for the Junior TKM Final race of the Season.... If you sent the script to Hollywood they would kick you in the nuts and say go away....
Bearing in mind the historical significance of what Abbi Pulling was trying to achieve in becoming the first girl to win a Junior S1 British Championship, and then watch the race unfold as it did, It is quite simply THE GREATEST EVER KART RACE!! She may not even realise this, but when Ross Deal overtook James Pashley on the last lap in Hairpin 2, with Abbi in 7th at that point, he had the championship lead by 1 point for precisely 3.61 seconds!!!! James Pashley fought back, getting past and bringing Zak Taylor with him to drop Ross back two places. Abbi fights past Kurt Roberts in the final esses to make up one more place and one more point.... had Ross stayed in 3rd they would have tied on points with her winning on countback! IF YOU ONLY EVER WATCH ONE KART RACE, THIS IS THE ONE...... TRULY BREATHTAKING RACING AND DRAMA! Have spent untold hours with pen and paper doing my head in creating the live points graphics as the livetiming failed to record, but cannot edit something like this without including them....... Jake Sanson... Get Ready for the greatest ever kart race.... Yes.... we just eclipsed the 2013 Junior TKM Elite final at the TKM Festival!
This race truly defines our sport, and is a credit to the drivers, the championship, and engine manufacturers Tal-Ko.
