It's more about whether it's better to keep buying better used tyres like the W5's and then having to make do with other ones when they are not available or if buying a set of cheaper new ones and sticking with them.
There seems to be cheaper sets around new I assume these are non MSA spec at around £100. Next up are some Mitas tyres I found at about £130 then the majority of others at about £150 and then the W5's around £170.
We can use non MSA tyres for the class we are doing but there doesn't seem as many around now.
