My daughters in the Novice class so it's all just practice at the moment but even nearly slick ones certainly help quite a bit. Thing is it's a case of what turns up for sale if you keep getting used ones. I'm not sure what others do. If they have a supply of used tyres of the same sort from a team but so far we have had to buy our own. The first ones we had were found in someones back garden and had been there years !
