I'm gonna get my MSA licence but first...

Is there anything in the starting karting pack which I need in order to complete the ARKS test. I already have the gold and blue books, I downloaded the licence application form from the msa website...

I guess what I am asking is, can I just do my ARKS test, complete the licence form and medical, and then apply for my licence, all without buying the pack?
