If I remember correctly from our 2 years using Vega SL6 tires in Yamaha class, we aimed at temps around 50-55 degrees. Of course here in Sweden we don't have the same track condditions, but I believe that somewhere in this range will give desirable, yet not too much grip.
Check the temps using an infrared thermometer as soon as the cart comes to a stop and you will get an accurate reading. Note that tires have different temps on the inside and outside tracks. I usually take readings in the middle and have noted that the tires have different temps depending on whether they are front or back, teft or right. Often the front left tire has the highest temp.
