But we ARE helping you! How? By explaining why you do NOT need a clutch!

And, if you read the 'how to start' instructions, you'll see that you CAN do it very easily BY YOUR SELF!

These things SHOCK me sometimes! I've been in it for 50 years and for most of that time, I have not used a clutch. Do you think that WE always took 2 or more people with us? How do you think WE old-timers managed, in the past?

Many of us old guys will tell you that we were a MUCH tougher and MUCH more self sufficient generation. Most of the time. I realise that such claims are just 'rosy tinted specs' worn by us old people! However, with this INCESSSANT crying out 'oooooh, I need a clutch' I begin to wonder!

Damn it! I watched Roger White bump start a 250 TWIN..... ON HIS OWN: he treated it JUST like a 100cc kart! He picked up the rear bumper while holding the steering wheel, ran, bumped and jumped and finished the race! If short and dumpy Roger can do it in a 250, then almost ANYONE can manage in a 100cc!

Yes you CAN fit a clutch but usually, it will need the longer crank shaft and will need to be Reed Valve as the clutch will interfere with the carb if it's a rotary valve. The costs WILL be high!
