I replaced the needle and seat but had lost the spring when trying to clean it at the track (wont be doing that again!). I bought a new spring then rebuild the carb fully (other than the little metal piece that you have to drill out and the high jet valve but all other parts changed for new parts and i did this in a clean environment (my kitchen).

I will strip it down this weekend and have a look if any dirt has got in.
