Yes this will become a problem if you continue to run with this fault. It is likely that the coiled plug contact within the red cover has become loose or detached from the HT lead. If the spark energy continues to be dissipated in the plug cap, it will eventually burn away what little connection still exists. With long nose pliers, fish out the contact from the red cap and push the HT lead through so that you can re-make the connection. If it's already burnt out, get a new cap from your Comer stockist.
