Again, you are being ambiguous.... BUT..... if you do mean that the holes at the END (held within the 'chrome' plated end-piece) then they are almost SOLELY there to make the engine quieter and have little of NO effect on performance.

However, if they are FULLY blocked, there is a cahnce that the OTHER foles are less than their ideal size. Wjat many of us do is as follows:-

1) buy a new exhaust
2) Failing that: light a BIG barbecue, cook a good meal, eat it and then place the exhaust ON the barbeque and pile more charcoal on it. We then give it a right good 'fanning' until the charcols gets REALLY hot and leave it there over night!

The stuff which blocks the exhaust is unbirned oil residue and other flamable stuff. The heat will burn a large proportion of that stuff OFF!

Out of interest, it's there becaue our exhaust temp is too COOL.... at about 250 degrees. The Aixro uses roughly the same fuel but the exhaust is nearly ONE THOUSAND degrees. The end of THAT exhaust looks the same... but tends to RUST, as there are almost NO unburned hydrocarbons coing out.......
