It’s ironic that a thread in which people are discussing taking the law into their own hands with threats of physical violence, that Sir Kitt/Dean Parker should show up.

Newshound and Chris Kasch, I too was at GyG and no matter how good a driver he was and any good things said about him, will ever excuse his actions that dark day.

Martin Gange was no angel and was punished by the MSA accordingly. However Dean Parker regardless of provocation carried out, with premeditated intent, an act of violence that left Martin Gange scarred for life.

At no time has Dean Parker publicly expressed any remorse, in fact he bragged about it in his posting on this forum at the time. This combined with his ‘currently competing in T minus 4 years’ user profile statement, would indicate that he takes some pride in his actions.

May I remind you that this assault took place in the paddock where families and children were present. The MSA banned Dean Parker from national and international competition for five years and GyG imposed a lifetime ban. Due to the historical connections that Hooton and MBKC had with GyG, there may be justification in extending the lifetime ban to those tracks as well.

Why on earth would any sane minded person wish for Dean Parker to make a comeback and run the risk of this thug ambushing another competitor?
